Get your (Neville Long)bottoms down to the Union on the 4th of November to grab a ticket for the most magical night of the year!

On November 29th the doors of Kinkell Byre will open into a magical world filled with drinks and merriment. That’s right—it’s the annual Mermaids Christmas Ball. With a Harry Potter theme and the Mermaids’ innate knack for making everything slightly more wonderful than usual, the night is sure to impress.

For all of you muggles out there who may not have heard, ticket sales will take place at 9am on the 4th of November at the Union. Be sure to arrive extra early because lines are known to stretch around the block. To keep you entertained while you wait, there will be a myriad of student musicians. Each ticket will be £35, but the enchantment that accompanies will be priceless. If you are unable to get to the Union, there will be a limited number of tickets available to purchase online on Tuesday the 3rd of November from the Union Website at 12 noon. All proceeds go to sending Mermaids shows to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Hogwarts, I mean… Kinkell will be filled with themed wonders and musical performances from the Alleycats, Bluewater, Joe Jones, and BBC Radio 1 DJ Matt Edmondson—the night is sure to get you into that delightful Christmas spirit.

Raven-claw your way to the front of the ticket lines. There’ll be drinks to meet you at the Gryffin-door. So Slyther-in to that slinky dress. And Hufflepuff…. keep doing you.

Be there or be a wingardian levi-loser. I’m definitely going.. and I solemnly swear I will be up to no good.
