Hello! I'm Richard, a third-year History student with a minor obsession with sport.
When I ought to be researching my latest essay, I will most likely be found checking various sports websites for the latest football news, looking up who won the 1946 Tour de France (ha, trick question, there wasn't one!) or standing in the rain watching some good ol' rugger.
My involvement with both STAR and The Saint has allowed me to put my passion for writing/broadcasting about sport to good use, and this year I hope to have more live commentaries on a variety of Saints Sports, as well as updating the website and co-hosting the weekly sports round-up every Sunday (4-5pm), The Sportscast.
Besides that, you can hear me on Old Browne Shoe, my Tuesday (3-5pm) music show which features The Beatles, more barmy/brilliant musical choices and bad puns, and getting involved in STAR News every week. Who said Arts students have too much free time?
