Costa Coffee Gets a Makeover

With the smell of a freshly applied coat of paint in the air, Costa reopened this morning at 11am to the public.
Principal Louise Richardson was invited into the café to see the changes before officially opening the store. She gave a small speech saying how much she’s missed her morning flat white the past few days, and promptly cut the red ribbon outside to let the crowd in for a cup of coffee.
Assistant Manager Cally McKay told STAR News that the renovations are intended to liven up the interior of the coffee shop, making it more student friendly.
Two new coffee machines and a pair of tills have been installed to shorten the queue. All new chairs, tables and booths have been dispersed, along with brand new pictures on the walls.
After only four days Costa looks as good as new. The shop will also be getting Wi-Fi soon, a great complement to the student-friendly atmosphere.
