Latest News on Missing Dundee Woman
A body found on an embankment by Ladywell roundabout in Dundee is believed to be that of missing mother-of-three Mary Mclaren. The roundabout is only yards from Irvine’s square, one of the last places Mary was seen before her disappearance after a night out on 24th February. A man she met at Fat Sam’s nightclub has been identified and is assisting the police with their enquiries.
A detailed forensic examination of the scene is taking place, causing disruption to North Market-Gait where police have redirected east-bound traffic. A post-mortem will be carried out as soon family members have been notified and the body identified.
Shaun McKillop, the officer heading the investigation, urged the public to continue to come forward with any information or call 0300 111 2222.
